Associate / Senior Associate – Commercial Property (5 PQE+)

Farleys Solicitors is looking for an experienced Commercial Property Associate or Senior Associate (5 PQE+) to join our established and growing team in Preston. This is a key opportunity for a talented lawyer who wants to take the next step in their career within a respected regional firm that combines local heritage with the strength of a national legal group.

About the Role

You will handle a high‑quality and varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, development projects, secured lending, and portfolio management. You will work closely with a supportive team of specialists while also having the autonomy to manage your own files and client relationships.

The role offers genuine progression potential, with the opportunity to contribute to business development, mentor junior colleagues, and play an active part in the continued growth of the Preston office.

Why Farleys?

Farleys is known for its strong regional reputation, approachable culture, and long‑standing client relationships across the North West. As part of Lawfront, one of the UK’s fastest‑growing legal groups, we are able to offer the best of both worlds:

  • The stability and culture of a well‑established regional firm
  • The investment, infrastructure, and career development opportunities of a national group
  • Access to shared expertise, technology, and resources across Lawfront firms
  • A clear, structured pathway for progression supported by group‑wide leadership and training programmes

This partnership allows our lawyers to focus on what they do best: delivering excellent client service and building meaningful, long‑term relationships.

About You

We are looking for a lawyer with:

  • At least 5 years’ PQE in commercial property
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to handle a broad range of matters
  • Confidence managing client relationships and contributing to business development
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support the wider team
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset

Experience supervising junior lawyers or supporting team development is desirable, though not essential.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits
  • Hybrid working options
  • Strong administrative and marketing support
  • Opportunities for progression within both Farleys and the wider Lawfront group
  • A friendly, down‑to‑earth culture where your contribution is genuinely valued

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you are an experienced commercial property lawyer looking to join a forward‑thinking firm with national backing and real opportunities for growth, we would be pleased to hear from you.
